Does anyone know if there is a way to tell a call manager analog port to ignore CSID on a fax if it is a string of letters (i.e Pauls Fax Machine) and replace it with ANI (10-digit originating caller)?
I am curious if anyone knows of or could recommend a server/blade/storage sizing and capacity planning tool. Something and not tied to any vendor would be ideal.
Thanks,

I am looking for a step-by-step for the following:
We have an 866 line terminated to a DID. We want this line to ring at four different phones in order.
So, person calls the 866 line and it ring at
Phone1 => no answer => Phone2
Phone2 => no answer => Phone3
Phone4 => no answer => Phone4...
We are using TAPI in our environment interfacing with a Nortel PBX (option 61) It works great. I know this doesn't answer your question.
What TAPI vendor/product are you using? Does your phone vendor have a tapi server that interfaces the phone switch and your data network?
You may need...
I got it fixed. I checked the RCAP setting in ld 17 (D-Ch config).
It had a setting of ND2. I disabled my D's and changed this setting to read nothing and now it is sending just our main corp number. That's all I want it to send.
Thanks to a previous post from Wheatly and John Poole, I was...
We just flipped two of our three ISDN_PRI's to a new carrier. The other (third) PRI is still with the old carrier because the all of our numbers haven't been ported yet.
Now when any of my agents makes a call, it sends their name rather than a generic company name or number.
Who sets this...
That's great, thanks John.
A couple of more questions:
You say I will need to out the trunks, route and D channels,
I will out the trunks in LD 14 and rebuild there?
I will out the routes in in LD 16 and rebuild there?
I will out the DCH in LD 17 and rebuild there?
Is this Correct? If so...
Thanks, that's great.
One additional question:
Sprint was using a Lucent Switch and our new provider is using an DMS 500. In what load do you find the difference or do you have an example of building a trunk?
Thanks
We are changing providers and the new carrier wants to know the following:
Line Coding -
Line Frame -
Digit Outpulse -
Protocol -
We are currently using ISDN PRI's with Sprint. Anyone know off hand what LD's I can find this info in ?
Thanks
Ok, let me clarify. I am not trying to find out the performance of exchange.
I would like to know how much email a user is sending and receiving.
In other words, I would like to query the exchange database on a per user basis to find out their email utilization.
The ultimate goal is to find...
Does anyone know of a good utility to track the amount of messages being sent by exchange users?
I am aware of Message Tracking, but it sucks. Anyone know of a better tool?
Thanks

I am having trouble authenticating from my back up server (win2003)to the linux server.
Basically, I am trying to backup the data by mapping a drive to the Samba share. I can see the Linux server in the browse list, but I can map it.
Is there anyone who might know why?
Thanks
I am using backup exec 9.1 on Windows 2003 server. We just put in a Redhat Enterprise Server ES 3.0 and I would like to back it up.
Anyone know what the easiest way is to do this?
Thanks
