We just flipped two of our three ISDN_PRI's to a new carrier. The other (third) PRI is still with the old carrier because the all of our numbers haven't been ported yet.

Now when any of my agents makes a call, it sends their name rather than a generic company name or number.

Who sets this, the telco or me? If it it's me, where do I change this.
Our old carrier had a lucent switch. Our new carrier is on a DMS500/100.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Normally, with any TELCO, if you have PRI, you can set the number, but they set the name (it is what is on your account). When you send number, the CO does a database dip into their CLID database, and looks up the number, and attaches the name. Sometimes, you can tlel the CO to ignore any numbers you send and just attach your main number or BTN (billing telephone number) and name. That way you don't even have to worry about your CLID tables. Are you saying the CPND name that you have assigned in LD95 is appearing on outbound calls to external people with caller ID? -Matt

I got it fixed. I checked the RCAP setting in ld 17 (D-Ch config).

It had a setting of ND2. I disabled my D's and changed this setting to read nothing and now it is sending just our main corp number. That's all I want it to send.

Thanks to a previous post from Wheatly and John Poole, I was able to do this.

thanks
