    VIA IDE Tool freezes WinXP

    You might want to try and install an ASPI Layer as all my XP Pro "hang" problems related to IDE were solved after I installed the 4.6 ASPI Layer. (Not the latest version as that did not work). If you want to try this do a search on ASPI to obtain the files.

    Logon Question

    I'm not sure what caused this behaviour change but you might want to have a look in user accounts from control panel and check the logon and logoff options. Hope this helps ....

    XP HE to Win98SE password question

    I have been struggeling with this too. However you either need to define the guest user on XP or specify a user in 98SE (with a password) and create that user with the same password in XP. Hope this helps ....
