Have you tried setting a password for the accounts? Try that and go to one handheld and see if you can complete the activation that way. I have ~70 in my location and occassionally I have to just do it manually.
Reason I ask, if you are set up as we are, the activation info is lodged on the BES server and the user does not have to enter anything on the handheld to begin activation.
If a user buys a new unit (doesn't really matter the provider unless your BES restricts it somehow), that user can...
Let me understand what you are saying. He purchased a new BB and swapped his sim from the old to the new? He did not change service providers or anything? Is that what you mean by "setup our company email account on it"?
Sounds like you are using a web (bwc) account. Unless you set the web account to delete email every X days, that account will fill up quickly and give you the quota (or similar) message. At least, that has been my experience.

We have three (3) BES servers in one OU for ~2500 users. How many more do you need?
There is a limit as to the number of handhelds a single BES can support, but I do not know of a limit to the number of servers.
You mean on the sim card itself? You did not say what model or version of software you have, but if you have version 4.x on the handheld you should be able to go to the sim card thru Options and click on the number. One of the options should be to Edit Sim Phone Number.
I'm on a BES 3.6 with a 7100t with 4.0 software. I need to create an email group with PIN numbers only for times of emergency. I cannot find how to do that. All addresses I add to the group are email addresses and I have no option for a PIN number, even tho all addresses have PINs.
I can PIN...
I need to print about 100 messages without the Mailbox Owner being printed at the top of the page. After considerable research, it looks like this cannot be done, even on an individual basis, much less several at a time.
Does anyone know a way around this? I don't care about the header info...
Turn off wireless reconcile. On the handheld, in your Messages folder, go to Options | Options and turn off the wireless reconciliation. That should do it both ways.
Not quite true, Zelandakh. You are confusing a TV with a radio. With a TV you can buy tapes to play and get SOME use out of it; with a BB you can create addresses and tasks, etc.
Not much more than with a pad and pencil/eraser, but it could be used.
I have T-Mobile accounts for my users, but it should work the same. There should be an option on the Vodafone account to delete messages after X days. That should free up the space. Sorry I cannot be more specific than that, I have never seen the Vodafone account. Shoudo be on the Options or...

Everything said here is true, but there is a time delay involved here. I have had two users who left their handheld in a cab in NYC. It was not till they returned to the office that they reported it so the devices could be sent the kill command.
If the concern is physical security (as opposed...
greenW is correct, you can search for them thru Lookup, but the return will be the actual group name, not the display name, and you may get more than you bargain for; don't let that fool you.
For example, we have lots of groups here in Los Angeles. If I try to look up the group Los Angeles...
I have one user (out of 2,000+) who is having an issue with opening WordXP documents. Documents will randomly open in various screen zooms such as 41% or 92% instead of 100%.
The components of ths issue: W2K on the PC with Office XP. Documents are retrieved from a Document Management System...
