Disregard the above. I managed (serendipity) to get a "print to" PDF program installed.

Until recently I had PrimoPDF installed and working as a virtual printer. I uninstalled. Now I can't get any PDF printer to install; actually doPDF installs but is not recognized as a printer. I've tried several PDF printer programs and none work. Any help would be appreciated.

BTW, other programs including the Adobe v7.09 update install without a problem.

The event viewer shows the error code 1013, which is undefined in the MS knowledgebase. I have found a slew of problems listed on the Adobe forum, but not this specific error.

Also, there is no logging by Adobe. All is done in the temp file and I can't find anything there that helps me.

How important is the -5 voltage rail on a dual Xnon based system? A friend brought his system to me because he occasionally locks up. I installed SensorView; and all voltages look good except the (-5) volt is showing as -2.08 V. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks, Arthritic

First, thanks again for all of the support offered here. I finally gave up and swapped the motherboard for another. I was then able to install my O/S without a problem. The MB board that I had problems with is a Soyo SY-P4RC350. The board I replaced it with is a Soyo SY-4I865PE-V1.0.
