    Internet slow?

Is there a tool out there (preferrably free) that will monitor the health of our network bandwidth? The network is simply made up of a PIX firewall, 7200 router, and about 8 catalyst switches. I'd like to have something that could show realtime bottlenecks, the offender(s), and pull reports...

    Read receipt wont die

I have a user who has been receiving a 'read receipt' for the past 5 weeks and I've only been able to determine that it's being generated each time the sending user logs into his email. Is there some place I can look (server or client) to isolate this issue? Thanks!

    External metwork monitoring

What's the best app to monitor/trend internet usage? I just recently installed Kiwi Syslog and pointed our PIX firewall at it and can see a ton (37K messages per hour) of events. However, I was under the impression that this app would allow me to monitor web pages visited by a particular host...

Export user accounts - Win Server 2000

Can someone point me in the right direction to export domain user accounts on the PDC running Windows Server 2000? I want to audit these accounts and ultimately delete those that are no longer here. Thanks!

    Is this even possible??

So my old friend requests that I install Win95 on an old Tecra 8000 laptop. I have a floppy and a DVD-Rom (CD support included), but only one bay. If I use the floppy drive, the boot disk wont detect the CD-ROM hardware (obviously since it's not connected) and aborts installing any drivers. So...

    Office 2003 install error

Thanks Wray but I belive we tried this to no avail. I'm concerned that this is an anti-piracy measure and that the only way to perfrom installs will be with the original cd.

    PIX question

So I just recently discovered the "term mon" command on our PIX firewall and am now wondering if there's any way to channel the output to something like an ISA server. That way, I can maybe trend usage and pull reports. Is it possible? TIA!

    Exchange url address?

Just for reference, the fix was simpler than I expected. The server name used was simply the IP address - the problem was with the security - or lack thereof. The Treo device only needed the username/password - no other ssl settings.

    Office 2003 install error

I'm trying to do an install of Office 2003 and get an error during the caching of .cab files - The install stops and prompts me to locate the first alphabetical .cab file (a2561405.cab). But the weird thing is, that (and all of the other .cab files) are in the directory it's searching in... why...

    Exchange url address?

I have a user who's trying to set up a Treo PDA device and have it receive company emails from his Exchange server account. One of the settings is incoming mail server address. Where (on Exchange Administrator do I find this information? I presume it will be via IMS somewhere... Thanks.

IS Exchange 5.5 also an SMTP server?

Is there some sort of manual that steps users through this whole process. The Exchange server is configured to reroute SMTP mail. I just need to know how to enter an SMTP address on the UPS device that points to the Exchange server and I'm having some difficulty understanding your instructions...

IS Exchange 5.5 also an SMTP server?

IMS is already installed on our exchange server. When I enter the IP address of this exchange server, the messages do not get delivered from the device. However, when I entered the IP address of the Comcast SMTP server that has my personal comcast.net account, message delivery from the device...

    User is still alive...

Thanks zbnet- I think your suggestion to set the outgoing message limit to 0KB will do the trick. I'll keep an eye on the queue every so often and verify.

    User is still alive...

I have a user account that has left the company and I've checked the "hide from the address book" feature however... I notice that the queue is showing his account as the originator of several messages which would indicate that his account is in fact still automagically send out messages. Is...

    Setup 3524's

OK, I think I got it entered. However, when I try to access the switch over TCP/IP, I get the mesage "Password required, but none set". I presume that I'll need to set a password on the switch, correct?
