Thanks for the suggestions jamisar, but I guess that the HDD is faulty as it does not spin (even though it is brand new and came in anti-static packing), the SCA pins are bent are touching each other or could be broken so it does not even recognise the drive. Regds, Anita

Hi, At sunsolve I can only find 108528-15, do you reckon it will solve the problem. That patch **-15 is very lengthy and my connection sometimes break. Is there any other alternative??? like removing patch which is creating the problem.
