I just upgraded Ross prom 2.22R in my ss20 (MP)
When monitoring in Solaris Management Console the status of cpu (two cpu installed), I get:
--cpu 0 75mzh clock speed (this is fine)
--cpu 2 16,xxx,xxx mzh clock speed (this is err)
Both cpu are 75mzh.
Command---module-info --reports correct...
Thanks for your response ady2k, I agree with you, while going through threads I have realised that CCNA can be done before entring solaris but for SCNA the requirement is to be SCSA so when I qualify for the requirement than I should first go for SCNA.

I am going for part II exam in a weeks time, as you mentioned that a lot of stuff is asked about NIS+, I am a bit concerned, as NIS+ is not mentioned in syllabus.
How deep do you think they go in NIS+??
Thanks for the suggestions jamisar, but I guess that the HDD is faulty as it does not spin (even though it is brand new and came in anti-static packing), the SCA pins are bent are touching each other or could be broken so it does not even recognise the drive.

When I boot a SPARCserver 20 MP after a overnight shutdown, it goes into diagnostic mode (diag-switch? set to true automatically) and it tries to boot from net.
After doing diag-switch = false and reset and shutdown and then reboot it boots okay. It shows the date and time of the last...
Trying to install DPSS-309170 80PIN 9.1 GB in SS20. No jumper setting is done, boot -r gives error:
1. Error for command load/start/stop
2. Sense key: Not ready
3. LUN not ready
devfsadm picks up the drive (second disk, so it is c0t1d0).
Format gives drive type unknown, IBM says format.dat...

At sunsolve I can only find 108528-15, do you reckon it will solve the problem.
That patch **-15 is very lengthy and my connection sometimes break.
Is there any other alternative??? like removing patch which is creating the problem.

I have checked patch 108528-14 which is not installed.
Should I go ahead and install the 108528-14 patch ?.
