We are using Linksys BEFSX41 VPN router in the office and SSH Sentinel on the clients. The office IP subnet (NAT)is 192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0. I can connect successfully from most clients and access VPN resources by routing all 192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0 requests to the local client's gateway...

The client I'm trying to assist is intermittently getting the following error when attempting to print checks:
"Error 012 on file: F:\Macola70\DATA\CHECKREC.BTR - File not found"
The problem might appear or disappear randomly on a PC after a reboot. At the same time, the same user would be...
Hmm, I have users on other PC's being able to just click eslwhere to select another area, with the previous one being de-selected. Anyone knows where this option is?
Thanks,

A rather basic question: when I select an area with a marquee tool and then click elswhere, the selected area is not deselected. To deselct it I have to press Ctrl+D. How can I enable this feature?
Thanks,
LaraM
Somehow the issue has been resolved.
It's Macola running on btrieve 7.0, XP PC's connecting to Netware 4.11 via CSNW. The drive has to be mapped. It now runs fine.
Thanks for all your help!

Thanks a lot for your replies. I am just starting to work at this client site, so I don't have all the background, - please bear with me:
1. I'm testing the client with admin priveledges.
2. I did run client installation, some client files are installed. The shortcut points to Novell share...
We are trying to make Macola Progression 7.5 work on the new XP systems. It runs fine on Win 98 PC's by accessing the program files on NOvell 4.11 server. Nothing but the shortcut to program file is installed on local machines.

Thanks for your replies. I am leaving IP resolution as it is, so there will be no internal DHCP. With DNS configured on the 2003 DC, I was planning to manually update clients' IP configuration to point to this DNS server as primary, and ISP's DNS as secondary. Will this work?

Hi,
I had just set up a 2003 Active Directory server and while trying to add a computer to the domain I got the following error : "domain controller for the [xyz] domain could not be contacted"
This client site uses it's ISP's DHCP for IP resolution and DNS. The name of the new domain is not...

You need to delete all logs and .chk files from both the \mdbdata and the \dsdata directories. Old log files were probably the reason why ISINTEG failed on you server

Thanks!
Hi,
There is a user, who cannot see 90% of his Outlook contacts when accessing via OWA. His contacts are under his mailbox on Exchange server. Are there any settings I can modify to make contacts visible on OWA?
Thanks in advance!
I am planning to run offline defrag on the Exchange database. I was wondering whether one would routinely run isinteg.exe after the defrag is done. If so - any estimate of how long does it take for the isinteg.exe to run on a ~10Gig database?
Thanks
Lara Makh
