Yes, they don't make it immediately obvious where the firmware is. Here's a link

Look down the list for 4000M version C.09.22
Funny problem that's killin' me!
I have a ProCurve 4000M with factory cards. The switch seemed to work well for a while now it won't allow any new devices on the network. Anything connected before still works fine as long as they stay connected in the same port. Move the device to a...
I tried roaming profiles, and the idea is sound and pretty cool.
But in real life, in a network that has a mixture of XP and 2000, people jumping back and forth off notebook PC's and such, it was kind of a pain.
Roaming profiles was working for me, but people were picking up stray icons and...
Sounds good. I'm running MDaemon as a front end for Exchange 2003 currently, but without an LDAP AD lookup for users, or painstakingly entering in all my users (and keeping that updated) MDaemon will refuse the mail (for security reasons of course). I've had to configure it to forward all...
I'm getting a little tired of keeping on my users to run their adware/spyware removers regularly.
Anyone know of a network product that can go into a subnet of PC's from a central console and clean them up? Or maybe there is just a better way?
Thanks for your thoughts in advance
NetIQ has a pretty reasonably priced keyword filter product that doesn't require a subscription to a blocked site list. I've used it with great success.
It's called WebMarshal, and this new version works as a plugin for ISA as well.
My users profiles are growing in size pretty quickly. Anyone have a quick fix for flushing all the temporary files from all my users remote desktop profiles? I can't depend on them to go and delete their files manually at the IE options box.
Thanks in advance!
I'm kinda stumped with this one. Here's what I've got. Win2003std server with NTFS. I've shared a folder and given the everyone group the share permissions of change and read. On the security tab, I've given Users all but full control.
What I'm trying to accomplish, and works fine this way...
I would like my remote desktop users to only see their locally mapped printers, but they are seeing ALL the printers from ALL the users currently logged in to a session.
Anyone know if there is a fix for this behavior?
Thanks in advance!!!
There was a special transform file for installing office 2000 on windows 2000 terminal services. I've got to install Office 2003 on Server 2003 soon also, so I'm looking around for some info to see if the transform file is still needed. Haven't found that answer yet.
While Googleing for an answer to the same problem, I came upon this helpful newsgroup thread which I think will fix me up. (haven't tried it yet, but looks promising enough to pass along.)...
