What I am trying to do is have a popup that reminds the users to close out files at the end of the day so that days do not get mixed together and the program does not have an auto close option.
Let me start by saying I have no database experience. I have two different databases containing client info. What I would like to do is compair the client names and account numbers in both databases and if they do not match get the client name and the account number in the old and new database...
I am redoing our phone menu in voicemail pro 6.1. What I would like is for the system to default to our English menu if an option is not chosen for one of the other languages in x number of seconds. Is there a way to do this?
I have a 2008 server running terminal services with users connecting in from home. The problem I have is they cannot print to their printers at home. I see it sent to the spooler but it deletes right after that and I see nothing logged in the event log.
Thanks.

I am looking for some direction. I am in the process of learning vbscript but still don't know much and I need to create a script to first check the version of MS Office installed, then check to see if the office install cache files are still on the pc and finally test to see if the cache files...
Let me preface this by saying I am not a vbscript person but I would post this in the vbscript forum because I think that would be a better solution for what your trying to do. Then just schedule it to run daily.
Hope this helps

Enable auditing for failed logons you will then be able to see an entry in the event log under security. Look at the event it might give you the workstation but it should give you the IP address and you can track it back from there. I would also avoid making changes to the default domain policy...
You would need to use some form of digital rights management I would think on the files in question because you only set read, write, create, modify, etc on files through windows or set who has access to certain printers.

Hope this helps.

How should I be setting it? The examples I have found so far online I thought were doing it that way unless I was reading it wrong. I am not familiar with scripting and am trying to learn this from scratch.
I have changed it as follows:
Const ForReading = 1
Const ForWriting = 2
Dim fso, MyFile
Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
Set objRegEx = CreateObject("VBScript.RegExp")
objRegEx.Pattern = "Files Infected"
Set objFSO = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
Set objFile...
