I'm back... unfortunately. Printer worked fine for a week but I'm experienceing a new problem, printer is now timing out. I set the timeout on the printer to 30 sec but still times out.
Anyone that can prevent me from doing a reinstall of the O/S would go to the head of the class.
Thanks
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
It's obvious that I have a little bit of knowledge... and you know what they say about having "a little bit".
Now I can burn this sucker and take it on a plane to a sunny climate and sell the customer.
Thanks again.
What I did when I created the cdsp folder was create a movies file within cdps. I thought by inserting <embed SRC="cdsp/movies/paint.wmv" that it would look to the file cdsp and then the file movies, etc.
I never thought of not including cdsp. I shall give it a try right now and...
I am returning to the problem of accessing a movie in a subfile on a CD. The webs were created on FP98, Win XP Pro.
I have two languages on the CD and I can access each language's pages from the index page (thanks to Corey). When I go to the Spanish pages which are all contained in the subfile...
That did it. I changed the port to an ECP setting and the Borther works. The Deskjet on the other hand still won't. I can get by on this one for the moment. I also think the ink might be low or out as well. which i shall check on my other computer.
Thanks.
I was thinking that I could see if there is a newer BOIS for the machine. Would that be a consideration? I'm not clear when you say "change the Lpt1 port type"
I have two cables (1 going to each machine) but I will try it. I'm thinking the only thing left to do is reinstall the OS, but that seems like overkill.
I have 2 printers. Brother MFC4350 and an HP
DJ695C. Running Win Me on ThinkPad I Series.
When I try to print to either printer the error message comes back out of paper. I'm not. The printers are online. Reinstaling drivers does not work. Deleted LPT1 and reinstalled but no help. Has anyone...
I have copied two websites onto a CD for presentation to a customer. The auto run gives a choice of which language the user can access, English or Spanish. Accessing the English choice accesses the English index page on the CD. The Spanish choice opens the site that is sitting on my C drive. I...
Sorry. I'm really out to lunch here. I changed index.html to .shtml and made the other change you suggested and i still get a blank page. If you go to the website you will see. I am grateful for your assistance but I feel as thick as 2 short planks right about now. I'm not normally this slow to...
SSI and I aren't getting along. I can't seem to either grasp it. I created a page at www.agga.cc/test and include 2 nav buttons in the right table (view source) but nothing shows up. I must really be missing the boat here.
Help please.
Now we are a little out of my depth but the good news is I can learn.
1. When you say "using FP 2002 extensions" how would this happen. What would I have done to facilitate this?
2. Can you point me to a good explanation of SSI?
Thanks
No, no luck. I think the next thing is to uninstall and reinstall it. Fortunately it wasn’t a big website so I copied and pasted from the online copy. I now have moved on to another problem.
What I am trying to create is a website with an index page that allows the user to access either an...
