If you have the Open File Option you can backup the SQL as flat files even if they are open. But the OFO is also an add-on serial key. I would not do it this way though...

Dont use the Virus Checking option, it is useless and time consuming. It does not do anything to a virus that might be found. Leave the virus checking to your virus software.

Where are you selecting the files from. The restore selections tab or by right clicking the on the tape in the devices tab, and selecting restore?

What IOS version arre you using. The "write memory" command is used with the older versions like pre 11.2 (i think). For newer versions it you have to type "copy run start" All of this must be done in Router(config)# mode. Mail me if you have trouble. riaan@stortech.co.za

HI am trying to login into one of our branch routers using Telnet. It connects, but only ask for a password. I have the config and know what the username and password is. The password in the config file does not work, in this telnet session. Does anyone know why this is happening ad how to fix this?
