I assume you are using Netbackup in a windows environment. If so, turn of the client job tracker on the client you are backing up. It shows up as a little computer on the taskbar. Or kill the tracker process through task manager.

If you have the Open File Option you can backup the SQL as flat files even if they are open. But the OFO is also an add-on serial key.
I would not do it this way though...

You dont have to rename the server if you do the process correctly. By the way "correctly" means the total oposite to what it says in the manual. I have done quite a few successful IDR restores.

Dont use the Virus Checking option, it is useless and time consuming.
It does not do anything to a virus that might be found. Leave the virus checking to your virus software.

The thing is, the router i can login to asks for a username and password. If you do a show run, it shows
line vty 0 4
login local
It does not state anything about a username and password. It does however, further in the beginning of the sh run, have the following.
enable secret...
What IOS version arre you using. The "write memory" command is used with the older versions like pre 11.2 (i think). For newer versions it you have to type "copy run start"
All of this must be done in Router(config)# mode.

no ip nat {inside | outside}source {list {access-list-number | name} pool name [overload] | static local-ip global-ip}
you would type something like
no ip nat inside source static 10.1.0.1 172.6.13.1
The other inside users can not use the NAT to get outside...
HI am trying to login into one of our branch routers using Telnet. It connects, but only ask for a password. I have the config and know what the username and password is. The password in the config file does not work, in this telnet session. Does anyone know why this is happening ad how to fix this?
