Hi all..
I have a general question regarding CR (10) where you want to show info that doesn't exist in some of your tables.
For example:
I have a rpt that has three tables (oracle) - parent & 2 childs.
I need to show all people who have not purchased product from one of the 2 childs. I know to...
Hi All..
I am trying to convert a tbl thats text (but is actually a date that looks something like 20040609 --- like to read 06/06/2004) to date field in crystal?
Oracle as dbase. Similar text (date) fields are in several tables (not for sure if thats important).
Thanks,
J
ahhh.. thank you all for your help.. It worked..
However, when I ran this formula it displayed as 1 even though they didn't produce a referral. I overcame this by writting a if statement -
if isnull({Referral.RefNo}) then "No Referrals"
... that way it would tell me who didn't produce...
Thank you so much for help.. sorry for data incomplete.
Structure looks like this:
//1 summary - based on employee name
Employee x = number of referrals
Not for sure if this is resulting in results I need - I need to show employee names summary (# of referrals)even if they didn't produce any...
Hi all..
I have 2 simple tables:
Table1 - referral information
Table2 - employee information
I am trying to provide a simple rpt showing summary of referrals for each employee. Problem is - how to show summary when employee does NOT produce a referral (there is an employee name in table2 but...
Sure thing:
Using CR 10.0
Access 2K dbase
Example:
Main Rpt is filetered by date (b/t 3/27/04 and 4/30/04).
GH 1 :
"Summary" results (count of sales maybe) for date listed above.
** I need additional "summary" results that fall outside of dates listed above.
This is where I am having...
Are there any info (books, etc) that have common methods (or formulas) to create (data) formulas for data that is either in groups or based on group formulas?
Ex - I have a rpt that I prompt for = data range.
However, I have GH data that need to summarize not only prompted date data but maybe...
Hi all..
May be a simple question but I need to create CR (10.0) using different (same layout; exact duplicate w/ exception pw, etc) oracle dbase (8.0)? When its refreashed, will it opt for new pw, or even data source?
Thanks
J
I have a rpt that is reporting sales info. I have some months that reps do not sale anything. Therefore, these do not show up on rpt b/c their sales activity is null. I need for these reps to show no matter of null activity. This is happening when I group by rep names.

J
Hi..
Hope anyone can help. I am trying to show null values - another words, I have a rpt to show all names, even if they don't produce anything?
Thanks,
J
If I just want to use CR10 repository function (from w/in Enterprise), do I have to use a SQL server? All I care to do is share formulas w/in different rpts?
If so, how do I configure?
Thanks,
J
I so appreciate your help but not for sure if that works.. When I do this - should I use the formula that I want to sum when you say "@ yourformula"? If so, i place 1st in header and 2nd in footer... but I only get the 1st sum of formula.. another words it didn't add all of them?
Thanks, J

--------------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------------------
I am trying to get a grand total for @formula 1.

I need to obtain a SUM for results of...
I have 2 groups -
I have a basic Rx that simply adds 2 fields to produce a sum. Lets name this Rx "formula 1". As mentioned before, I have 42 markets that will conatin display "formula 1".
