No I have tried disconnecting the speakers and just
testing it with headphones connected to the sound card
and it sill does the same error
so what can I Do?

I have a terratec phase 22 sound card and it is very
unstable and gives a lot of noise and so on when I am
using it while surfing the net.
Now I see that my sound card and network card are on the
same irq could that be the problem?
How can I fix it ?
I just tried moving the card to the...
well now my windows xp is fine. So therefore I will take
a new backup of it and now windows is on my C partition
again plus I have the important files in my C root now..

Just found out something:
The
ntldr
ntdetect.com
boot.ini files
are NOT in the root of the Ghost image with my system(windows)on.
HOWEVER they ARE in the root of another Ghost image which
I did NOT use in this process.
So maybe I should have copied these files to another...

I have just restored my pc with Norton Ghost Images.
But I had big problems when I got this error again
and again.
Ntldr is missing
I DID try copying the ntldr and the ntdetect.com and
fixmbr c: and fixboot c: and it did not work...

Well I have my outlook express and my whole system drive
on a symantec norton ghost image so how can I use the reg-
edit tool on that when it is placed on an image on an
external harddisk? Should regedit be copied to the ext. hd?
