I am frequently mobile and the Nortel system dnor oes not have as detailed a call history nor the ability to translate speech to text. There may be more reasons to justify this need... but hey... I'm an end user with different needs than most.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Do you think there could be some settings in the Telco Settings section I could manipulate w/o affecting the main system?

Hi All,
In my previous post to this forum, I was able to figure out how to configure my out-bound Caller ID by entering the CONFIG section and modifying the OLI # value to display my direct dial number. (CONFIG > Terminals&Sets > (my extension #) > Line Access > OLI #)
And many thanks to...
Wayne T... That did the trick...
The key was to be in config mode. I had no idea that different passwords shown different menu items.
And the button-by-button sequence was incredibly helpful!

Here's kinda a roadmap of what I see:
Terminals&Sets -> My set
- Capabilities
- Name
- User Preferences
- Restrictions
- Telco Features
--End of List--
I have tapped "next/show" under each of those options, but don't see a line access option.
I assume that this means I need to talk to telco...
Most of our desk phones have the main line as the outgoing Caller ID.
I know for a fact that we have had our telco in here to to program a subset of our lines to broadcast a different caller ID when one section of our office became a different company.
I'm interested in finding out where in...
Hi Tek-Tip Gurus!
I'm trying to program my extension to broadcast my DID as its Outgoing CAller ID instead of the main line at our office.
I have limited knowledge of our phone system, but maybe the following descriptors will help you figure out how to help me!
I ask because our company won't...
BoulderBum,
From looking at the hype online it seems like Rainbow and DNN are the two big guns in open-source CMSs. Do you have any idea what the differences are?
What else besides the two above mentioned CMSs are out there?

Hi all,
I am diving in feet first for the first time in ASP.NET, and am having trouble with some validation.
I am simply using the required field validation, but for some reason my server doesn't seem to run it.
I'm currently working on a CMS in .NET and have it succesfully working on a...

Hi all...
I'm sure this question has been answered before, but I'm not even sure what terminology to use for searching for it...
how do you make a div follow the user's scroll? I've got long page, and as the user scrolls down, I'd like a table with links to anchors within the page to follow...
I'm still having trouble...
The biggest challenge is not having any reference material to look at. Can someone point me to a good resources on how to interface with Windows 2k server to access its active directory in ASP 3.0 under IIS 5 where the web server is different than the domain...
It was more a matter of principle... if you are passing values to something of datatype string, shouldn't you make sure your query string also included the quotes? likewise, no quotes if it is a number?
Earnie Eng
Curious, though... in access, if you attempt that SQL statement, it would error out due to wrong data type passed. Is there some characeristic of the nvarchar that allows it to accept both numbers and strings?
Earnie Eng
try inserting quote marks around your value so that the SQL statement recognizes it as a string...

After some search of MSDN, I found some promising leads, but am having trouble with syntax:

Tarwin... or anyone out there who has attempted this... can you shed some light on my error...
