you might need a 480 ohm resistor from radio shack to "hold" the page port open. the paging port does not stay open for most valcom equipment. Just use the 480 ohm resistor to short the tip and ring and then continue on to the paging input on the valcom from the analog port set to page port. put...
your phones login code isn't 565 by chance is it? I've seen people think they have to enter the login code twice and the field below login code is login idle period.
If you create a dial paging short code with the analog paging extension, does it connect or ring busy? If it rings busy, put a 470 ohm resistor from radio shack on the tip side and it will hold the page port open and should fix your problem.
This resistor trick also works when getting phones...
you can also just use a $0.20 470 - 650 ohm resistor (they dont make a 600) inline from radio shack. this works great to open the paging port. Works every time.

make a wav file with the beep tone you want.
rename it to rec_01.wav
make sure the wave encoding is the same as hold music

Lock to Falc means t1 timing. try changfing to CSU mode if not already. Also try CRC checking to see if the phone company is not providing CRC. I had to have the phone company run a tberd test and rerun the line on a similar issue
