Can remote users dial into the phone system and then back out?

Joe, I assume that the barrier code would allow anyone that knows it access to dial out? I know IP office is a different beast, but on that system, you could only dial into the pbx IF it could match your calling digits to the twinning field (ec500 in CM). Otherwise you'd get a busy signal...

Can remote users dial into the phone system and then back out?

Hey Joe, I know that there are applications that do this, however I'm not looking for that type of solution. As I said, I've seen this done on the IPO side of things, figured CM would have something like that as well. It wasn't a pretty solution, but it functioned, and was easier than trying...

Can remote users dial into the phone system and then back out?

That makes sense. However, One-x lite doesn't appear to exist anymore.

Can remote users dial into the phone system and then back out?

I know this is possible in the IP office world, but was curious if it was possible in the CM world. Like most of you, we have an influx of remote workers. They have all been setup with EC500, but if they have to call a client back, it shows up as their personal cell phone, obviously. Is there...

forward calls from an extension, across SCN to a hunt group?

So, I ran into something similar not too long ago and it was a security setting on the SCN itself. Unfortunately I'm no longer working with IPO so I don't have access to the software to tell you what it was, but it was a checkbox that was unchecked. I can't remember what side of the scn it was...

Migrated from PRI to SIP and have a few issues - please help

I'll preface this with the fact that I'm coming from an IP office background, so this may or may not be relevant. One thing that we ran into a lot when doing customer Twinning features was that it would be blocked by the provider when it tried to pass originating caller ID since that number...

    SSH to Voicemail server?

Greetings, I'm coming from a background in IPO, so bare with me as I'm trying to learn some of the quirks of CM/Definity. One thing that I miss is being able to log into voicemail pro and quickly see if someone has voicemail before blowing away their vm box. As far as I can tell, there isn't...
