Looking for a couple of ideas for home use with our pbx extensions. (cm avaya aura cm 6.2)
We have a sip solution that would probably work and also have a skype for business account.(not set up for calls) Anyone using any of these options?

Setting Avaya phones up as VPN phones. Used that setup for years. but you can have issue with some Internet Providers, and when they need to change the user password.
Softphones work to, could see issue with PC that or over tasked. And on both setup you have to remember that you are at the mercy of the internet provider. It will be Voice Over the internet.

Thank you for the replies, I was wondering what phones you were using for the vpn connection and also if anyone has used an app on a cell phone such as 1x communicator.
Thanks.

Mostly the 9620, 9620L and 9670 phones. But we have decommissioned all of those and just moved to using the One-X Agent.
