I am actually never tried this, but the scenario has come up. I have a customer with SCN and 7 locations. When one of the offices gets busy or needs to close temporarily, the forward the calls of their main line to one of the other offices main lines. This worked without a hitch until recently we had to make changes to the local service provider and move the SCN from the WAN port to the LAN port. Now we are having issues.
One thing I tried was instead of forwarding to an external number, I tried to forward the phone to one of the hunt groups of the other systems, but it didn't work. I wasnt sure if I needed to have "broadcast hunt group" checked in order for this to work. Obviously you can dial the hunt group, you just can't forward a call to it from another switch.
