IS there an easy list for ** mobile call control commands?
I see *52 listed for clearing a call, but I'm uncertain about anything past that - is there a quick reference guide other than the one describing how to use short codes to set the twinning number?
I'm going to check on that with our vendor... though the initial feedback is that it won't work for some of our users for IX Portal because many of the folks who have the licensing are on H.323 96xx phones...
Does IX Workplace and IPO 11.0.4.2 support IPv6?
I have some Windows surfaces that connect to our district network via a Direct Access farm. Before I break things, I wanted to ask if IPv6 was an option for either IX Workplace and/or IPO 11.0.4.2?
IF it is an option, would just the main IPO...
CMUK,
I have a Core/Central site with a 500v2 and two IPO servers, and I have 24 remote sites/schools with a 500v2 at each building, and around 1,800 phones.
The Core/Central site 500v2 has 3 PRI's connected - no SIP trunks.
Users/Phones are configured for each site, and connect to the local...
I have a number of sites/schools, and one site currently has a hunt group that calls a number of phones as kind of an emergency quick call.
Because I'm working within a solution for all of the sites, I'm fairly certain I cannot create that same extension at other sites - I haven't tried, but...
For those of you who have stepped into the deep end of the pool, how are things going with this version?
I've seen a few comments about things like root access being disabled and something about a 3rd party SIP phone not working quite as expected, but nothing else seems to stick out.
Looking at the license on the primary server I see the following:
License Mode - License Normal
Licensed version - 11.0
PLDS Host ID (a 12 digit number)
PLDS File status - Valid
Select Licensing - Valid
Feature
Avaya IP End Points xxxx valid never plds nodal
Server Edition xx valid never...
When I connect to the Primary server's Voicemail I see "Centralized Voicemail".
When I connect to the secondary servers' Voicemail I see "Backup Voicemail"
I believe this is a Select system running on 11.0.4 SP1 (which is probably our primary problem). Note that Avaya has already told us to...
What does LDAP integration actually do for you in an IP Office environment?
I'm uncertain if there's enough value to warrant trying to implement it, but I wanted to ask for a better understanding of what it would allow.
Can LDAP integration be used to simply authenticate user logins to One-X...
This is Server Edition, uncertain about if it's select mode.
I suspect we have a non-standard configuration that's been brewed up here.
I wonder if this could be why we had such pain when the primary was shutdown for host maintenance a week ago. The secondary was up, and the expansion claimed...
I may be asking the wrong question, and perhaps some "light" reading might help solidify my knowledge for this.
Our central site has a pair of IPO servers configured in a Primary and Secondary/backup configuration. Each site - including the central site has an expansion system. The Central...
Thank you!
The "results" field changes after making those changes.
Previously, it seemed like the Results field was permanently showing some level of sync progress. After making those changes, I watched it automatically change status, and ultimately show an "Up-To-Date" result code.
When I look at the distributed voicemail screen on voicemail pro, I see something like the following:
Name IP Address Version Type Last Activity Result
10.0.0.4 10.0.0.4 11.0.4100.2 backup 23/01/2020 13:08 In Progress [100% complete]-last sync 12046 files on...
I see ARS entries. I see Lines. I don't know how to match up a line group with a 5 digit number to the PRI's.
(that's something I haven't yet figured out for this system).
Note I'm trying to understand because it feels like things are not quite right.
Looking at the SMTP settings for voicemail - the "SMTP Sender" configuration is set thus on the primary:
Domain: <LAN1 ip address of node1>
server: LOCALHOST
port:2525
identifier: VMPRO@LOCALHOST
Backup server is configured thus:
Domain: <LAN1 ip address of node2>
server: LOCALHOST
port:2525...
I should mention that the was this system is built, users are created on each site's 500v2 expansion with a fail-over/fall back to the IPO primary server. All PRI's connect to one 500v2 unit, and the rest of the 500v2's establish SCN connections back to this one 500v2, and to both IPO servers...
