-Do I need to remove the User currently associated with extension y?
-Does the hot desk ability affect the current twinning configuration, or are they completely separate?
Yes, I could do that, except that extension x is already twinned to another extension (not y).
Is there a short code to change which extension is twinned to another?

That's the problem -- they used up all of their digital ports and do not want to pay the cost of an additional card. They consider the intercom capability essential, so they may have to pony up if they want it badly enough.

Are there any Avaya (or other brand) analog phones that provide intercom capability with the IP Office 500V2 controller? Per Avaya's configuration tool, the 6211 is the only analog phone available for this unit, but it does not have intercom capability.

Is there a way to prevent the call appearance buttons from enabling during internal calls? One of our users, a receptionist, has 8 incoming lines and has a hard time distinguishing between internal and external held calls when it is busy.
