    IPECS LIP-8024E, No Voicemail Audio

So, I plugged this phone into a different port on the LAN and it seemed to start working. I then took it back to the original port and it wasn't working. I played around some more and I seem to be able to consistently get it to work. The only thing is, and I must have done this with the other...

    IPECS LIP-8024E, No Voicemail Audio

So, you are suggesting changing the phone (by changing the MAC addresses in the admin) that is connecting to that mailbox? (Not actually changing the MAC address of the phone that isn't working.) OK, will try that. Edit: Actually, I'm not able to test that at present, as I had to send the...

    IPECS LIP-8024E, No Voicemail Audio

I just noticed in the system that the 2 LIP-8024E phones appear to the system as LIP-8024D devices. Any thoughts on whether, with one LIP-8024E working with voicemail and the other not, the problem is related to that or not?

    IPECS LIP-8024E, No Voicemail Audio

How do you edit the MAC address in the phone config? do you have to press some button or combination to get that value into edit mode?

    IPECS LIP-8024E, No Voicemail Audio

It's an MFIM300 with a VMIM module connected locally. All the devices are in Zone 1. Both LIP-8024E (and the LIP-8024D) are connected "Remotely" (from a separate LAN), as well are a number of other IP phones and a DTIM24. This one LIP-8024E is the only phone that has a problem with voicemail...

    IPECS LIP-8024E, No Voicemail Audio

I have an IPECS LIP-8024E that is functioning properly except that when connected to the voicemail subsystem there is no audio. I've copied the station attributes over from another LIP-8024E that does have voicemail audio, and rebooted the phone, but still no audio. (As well, I have quite a few...

IPECS LPD-7008D phone, dial from call log?

    Perfect! Thanks.

IPECS LPD-7008D phone, dial from call log?

With an LPD-7008D (8-button) phone connected to an IPECS system, I can assign either Redial or Call Log to a Flex button. The Call Log is nice because you can see incoming as well as outgoing calls. However, I'm not able (or at least don't know how) to dial numbers from the call log using the...

    IPECS with remote DTIM24?

So, this worked perfectly putting one of my DTIMs at a remote location. Very simple setup, excellent call quality, although, the latter obviously depends on the quality of the Internet connection.

    IPECS with remote DTIM24?

Does anything need to be done to enable the DTIM's web interface (hardware switch or something?), or is it on a non-standard port? It doesn't seem to respond on ports 80 or 443. OK, looks like my router wasn't passing traffic to the DTIM IP, connected locally and am able to get into the web...

    IPECS with remote DTIM24?

Do you have to "get into" the DTIM (console port?) to change these settings or are there specific settings somewhere in the system's web interface? (I've looked, but couldn't find anything.) If you have to somehow "log into" the DTIM, do you know the exact details of how that is accomplished...

    IPECS with remote DTIM24?

That makes sense, but how do you, "set the public IP of the place where the iPECS is located?

    IPECS with remote DTIM24?

We have an IPECs system with 3 connected DTIM 24 units, all of this on its own private LAN, although, it is connected to the Internet since we have a number of IP phones scattered around in various places. I am by no means an expert on this phone system, although, I know a fair amount about IP...
