@Okkie26, I did notice that when calling out on the third time I hear 5 quick beeps. The display doesn't show anything except the number I'm call out to but based on the system monitor data the the beeping...

@Okkie26, Nah, it's tested and not the same POT every time.
Im going to get grab the monitor data this week and see whats up.

I have Avaya IP500 V2 with 3 POT line setup.
Can call from outside and use all three lines.
But cannot call outside using the third line, after dialing it makes an beeping noise (not busy signal).
Looked at the incoming call route, systems and hunt group and I don't see anything unusual...

Calling in is working great but does this also works with calling out when other people sees the caller id?
I set the outgoing ID to a different number for each group but I'm still pulling numbers from both groups.
Set the first set of incoming numbers to incoming ID of 1. Same applies to the second set of numbers to 2 and have the outgoing ID same as 0 due to the ARS default of 0. I would then point the incoming numbers to their respective hundt groups. Sound like a plan! Thanks
For example, if I have 4 POTS line and group A need to use 1111/2222 and and user group B 3333/4444. Would it be the best way to have each user to have their own Hunt Group and have the first set of numbers of incoming route set to hunt group A and the second set of numbers set to hunt group B...

I'm trying hook up a digital phone 1416 and getting a no application firmware / Flash memory failure. Did some googling and found that I should try upgrade to the latest firmware. The current firmware is 9, the latest I see here under the File->Advanced->Upgrade is 9.1

I never thought twice regarding to the line appearance since the phones comes with them as default.
I'm now a bit curious, can you link to me to where I can read more information about the unnecessary evil line appearance? Or a simple explanation...

The user has 4 POTS line and 1 of them is a private line.
User phone currently has 3 line appearance so I'm going to add one more, ie A B C D.
At the trunk lines config, the private number is on the first trunk with line appearance id of 701.
I then create label and add line appearance D on...

Phantom HG is checked
Dialing phantom, night group and main group all forward internally but not wont forward calls from externally.
So it would be something to do with external calls,

I'm having some issues with the night service forwarding.
I was able to forward externally by dialing the night service hunt group but if I set the main hunt group to night service, it would just keep on ringing.
Inhibit Off switch / forward is turned off.
How the logic I think it should work...
