I am still trying to understand the role of the telecommuter access then? Why does it exist and when is it used if remote access is superior.
As I understand it, telecommuter access only allows 4 FAC, enable/disable call forwarding, enable/disable secondary coverage path. No?
Thanks. I have been successful using the remote access option, but it is my understanding that that puts us at risk for toll fraud. I thought the telecommuter access was meant to be more secure and limit those risks.
What exactly is the difference between remote access and telecommuter...
Is it possible to administratively add numbers to the speed dial list of ALL stations? We would like to prepopulate with emergency contact info, IT helpdesk, etc.
Possible?
Thanks!
Thanks everyone for the help.
I am having some difficulty implementing the telecommuter extension. I've got it setup and I believe I have the COR and COS setup correctly as well, but when I dial the extension and enter the FAC, I get a beeping/busy signal.
Any thoughts?
We have lots of folks who travel internationally and would prefer to receive their vm's as email regularly. Is there a way to make the process automatic?
Super helpful AvayaTier3, thanks so much!
Ddog, same to you, very helpful, much appreciated.
Any experience with or thoughts on the occasional lag we are experiencing?
I know that it is possible have voicemail sent to end users as a .wav file via email, but for the life of me I cannot figure out where to start setting it up. We currently use Web Subscriber Options to allow users to get an email notification of a new voicemail, but some users would like to...
We've just recently begun allowing our users to make use of Call Forwarding/Enhanced Call Forwarding Off Net. Previously our chief executive had not allowed the use of the feature. Since rolling it out I have received a few questions from users and am hopeful folks here might be able to help...
Thanks everyone.
To confirm, in order for the vector solution to work, the executive would have to have two extensions assigned to him, his existing extension 2222 and then a bridged appearance extension 4444.
Correct?
Thanks!
Sure, thanks!
I would like all calls placed from Extension 1111 (Security Desk) to Extension 2222 (Executive) rerouted automatically to Extension 3333 (Executive's Assistant). I would like all other calls placed to Extension 2222 (Executive) to function normally.
Thanks!
That is definitely a good option, although it would result in some extra work for the security staff. Maybe they'll learn with time.
Anyone comfortable with vectors? Can they be used to accomplish this task? Any suggestions or guidance?
Is it possible to set it to flash only for calls from one specific extension? The user would like his phone to function normally with the exception to calls from the one extension.
