We have Avaya i.p. office. customers told me that dial by first name is not working when they call the main phone line and when it goes to voicemail.
Where to check for this issue in i.p. office. what i should be checking for in the config setup of i.p. office.
Any advice is appreciated
we have avaya ip office . to dial an external number the users have to dial "9" and if its outside local area they need to dial "1"
by mistake some of the users are dialling 911 . how can we change this 9 to something else to dial external calls.

I want to backup both IP Office and Voice-mail Pro onto another server. we wanted to do this so that we can restore the database if anything goes wrong with the current server having the software.

these conferences phones have to be rebooted (unplug the power) every time we do a conference call. they seemed to go in some sleep state if we don't use it ... the next time they are not responsive. the only solutions to this problem is to unplug the power cord and restart the phone.

Under "extension" in I.P. OFFICE ... what should I choose H323 OR SIP extension?
When I choose either one of them ... it try to find a i.p. handset?
