I have several VPN phones configured and working but it seems to be dropping the VPN connection or something of the likes after initially establishing a call. Once I've placed a call, I can hear everyone fine and talk to them as well, however if I'm calling into say a G2M conference line and...
Hi, I was trying to connect my mobile phone to our IPO500v2. I'm not sure what I need to change to be able to connect.. I've set myself up as a Power User and enabled the One-x Portal option.. I've also enabled One-x Telecommuter and Remote Worker to see if those were related somehow. Under...
I tried using the Y character when dialing from the softphone and it did not make a difference. I have managed to setup the shortcode as follows that allows me to make long distance calls from the softphone:
Code: 9N
Feature: Dial
Telephone #: N,,Y12345
However... I previously used the code...
Haha.. thanks for the suggestions. Doing what intrigrant suggested seems viable.. but very time consuming to execute (especially since I've setup about 15 conference IDs for calling in and would have to create the setup for each one).
Basically, my call is not yet connected when it plays the tone for the LD code. Thus, the Softphone is probably viewing it as a busy signal/disconnected signal.
It seems that the Softphone isn't recognizing the tone played by the carrier.. the issue occurs because there isn't any ringing prior to the tone for the LD code. When you dial a long distance number, it immediately plays the tone to prompt for the LD code. The softphone is not allowing me to...
Just adding to this.. is it possible to setup a shortcode for an extension to auto-dial the shortcode?
Something like..
Dial Direct
9N
N,12345
But then I assume that would just create problems with local calling..
When using the softphone, after you dial a number, how do you enter additional digits when there is a tone? I'm testing the softphone at the moment for some of our remote employees to start using. However, when dialing long distance our outbound trunks require a long distance code. Immediately...
Unfortunately, when we purchased the system we also signed a maintenance agreement for a couple years. I will be finding a different company to take over the support/maintenance on the product as soon as our current agreement comes to an end though.
I once had them get angry with me tell me to...
Awesome.. I figured it was possible to do this. Our Avaya partner has said otherwise multiple times. Not going into detail, but this isn't the first time they have said one thing and I figured out otherwise on my own.
My company has an IP Office 500v2 with a Voicemail Pro (UC Module). Our office has two main lines coming into the building that are answered by the receptionist.. One representing the office building and the tenants in the building and another representing a single tenant (a company owned by the...
Through Voicemail Pro modules I have configured a line for certain employees to call in, enter an assigned unique conference ID, and then enter their pin code (which is changeable through another module).
I wanted to know if it is possible to have the system announce the number of callers on...
Ahh, good to know. Thanks. Since our 2nd box will need MS Visual studio it might be best to upgrade to the MSDN that comes with that. I'll have to have a to look into getting that approved.
Ps. We were basically give a hunk of money to spend on replacing our old equipment from insurance, so going overboard on the CPUs with their cost wasn't a bother to us. Should we need additional ram in the future, we still have the space in the system for that.
Thanks!
Ah, yes.. As far as being able to run just two VMs on the standard, I'm aware. We purchased both boxes with standard and were planning to add the licensing from the 2nd to the first to increase its VM availability. We have a copy of Datacenter from our technet subscription that will be installed...
My company recently purchased two maxed out R520 (Dual Xeon processors w/8cores each, 32GB total ram) servers running Server 2012 to replace existing equipment that was lost in a fire. I'm here looking for some opinions..
One of the servers will be used for our active directory, print server...
