Good day,
I'm good to go for now. I removed several large backup files from within the dadmin account directory. For the people coming after me, I just did a "cd /var/home/dadmin", then a "shred -u filenameyouwantdeleted"
Good day gents.
So I'm back at it now today, truly appreciate the replies so far. You guys are single-handedly making me want to take a linux course, especially considering I have a Steam Deck and wanna start tinkering a lot with it lol.
Anyway, this is the output for the combination of both...
Hi Ladies and Gents,
I'm receiving the above mentioned error when trying to login. I have identified that /dev/xvdb in the "var" directory is full and is most likely the cause of this happening.
I'm not very familiar with the commands required to go any deeper than what's shown here, so I...
Hi all,
I'm tasked to setup a demo that includes working softphones via Workplace, my knowledge of certificates doesn't run too deep unfortunately though, My question is, am I able to get about three Workplace softphones between Apple and Android devices working without having to pay for...
Believe is or not, I went down by my mum's house to celebrate my brother's birthday and went into my old room and found an Avaya 3526t-pwr+ switch, a 1608 IP Phone and a Wi-Fi router. That's literally everything I need to makes calls between my laptop (softphone), IP deskphone and...
So I was able to get the VM running and my softphone is working so thanks for the help on directing me to it. One other thing, where can I find Avaya's current physical demo kit? I noticed that they referenced it in the document you sent me, but it shows 9600 series phones which are end of life.
Thanks a lot Westi, I'll work on getting your recommendation going. If you or anyone else has more input on this, please feel free to toss it in, I really do appreciate the assist.
Hi guys,
Can anyone say if there exist an Avaya Agent Desktop demo kit that can be used that doesn't involve getting support from Avaya directly involved? I'd like to be able to present to a client how it works with about 2 - 3 users. I'm an Avaya partner and have access to software on their...
Hi guys,
I'm trying to implement the service from the vendor Callwithus to help reduce the cost of long distance calls, thing is though, even though I know a decent amount about navigating Call Manager, I'm not familiar with how to get that going as I'm still learning Call Manager. What are a...
So I just ended up doing what Tommy mentioned and had someone record over the stock recording from a module.
I started to do the "chmod Wavs 777" and WinSCP stuff, but I wasn't able to easily find a replacement recording online and asked someone from the office to do the recording instead, they...
I've found the aor_00.wav file as a linux root user in Putty, I don't know the commands required to replace/add a wave file though, I will continue to look it up myself, but please feel free to drop the exact commands here if you know them as I have to leave the client site soon and I was really...
Thanks for the reply. Now I need to know where to look to find the WAV file, I'm not seeing that file in the file manager. Is there a different place I should be looking?
Hi guys,
I'm looking to change the default warning message that plays to let others know their call is being recorded. Where can I go to make that change? This is the only area I see that has the option to enable or disable it.
For anyone still wondering, I resolved this issue. I needed to make the "Voicemail Password" in the IP Office's Security Settings the same as the voicemail password in the Voicemail Pro Client > Administration > Preferences > General. I restarted the voicemail service afterwards, but not sure it...
Okay, understood
I checked the "about" page and getting this:
It's saying that Media Manager isn't licensed, the Media Manager license in the IP Office is valid though, should that be a concern? I can't for the life of me get anything to record.
Hey sizbut,
Appreciate you guys on here a lot, let me start with that.
I'm most likely going to check out Xima for whenever another call recording client comes around, it sounds like an obedient piece of software lol.
Anyway, it sounds like I have pretty much everything set then. I'm headed...
Wait wait wait wait wait. Are you telling me that this Avaya server can't do call recording with Media Manager unless I use a third party solution along with it? All the docs I've read so far suggests that I can do it with what I have. There's no way we'll be able to convince the client that...
Hi ipohead,
I have the server mostly set up. It's configured as an application server and I have configured Media Manager and enabled the services etc. The server and IP Office Control Unit can communicate over the network and I have the IPO's voicemail set to "Voicemail Lite/Pro". I believe...
