Hi there
Sorry to say but I have just proven the hold button theory (However it is still a HOLD ISSUE) wrong on this one and have managed to replicate the issue, and it is in my mind both system and user error. See call flow below.
- Call 1 comes in (No stress on receptionist)
- Transfer...
Hi there.
Strange one, and no the conference button is not being pressed.
This is an issue I have had on quite a few systems for quite a while now, varying software versions.
On either 1416's or 1616's switchboard receives a call on appearance A, answers the call and then a second call comes...
Hi Sizbut
One key bit of info I forgot to share is this is a dealership, that is remote to the actual Avaya. By saying remote I mean they are two separate buildings (100m apart), connected via fibre. The one site hosting the Avaya has no issues, only the remote building. The remote site have no...
Hi there, any bright ideas would be appreciated.
I have a client, who is in the landing path at a major airport who is complaining that every time a plane passes overheaad, their DECT phones lose signal.
Any idea's on how to get past this.
Thanks in advance
So here is a question you can ask your SIP provider, as I have had the same issue.
Normally on their platform they route the DDI to a specific account, however we managed to get them to set the number to route to a specific SIP IP address that includes the "Live IP" of the site and the SIP...
I have had this in the past when I logged in with a manager of an earlier version software release, is your manager the same version as the IPO software?
I have had the issue often where a power outage corrupts the bootloader on the handset, no fix that I know of other than shipping it back to Avaya, in this situation the phone does not even get to the stage of requesting an IP Address so looking for the mac address does not help and any network...
Hi there.
Has anyone experienced a base station (Ext Antenna) that created like a gurgling underwater sound when calls are routed through it?
The base station syncs with RSSI -63db as the worst of the site, so it is not a sync issue, even though this does not affect the voice path.
Hoping for...
Hi there and a happy new year to all.
My issue that I have is UDP is not a guaranteed delivery protocol, and the odd packet does do astray, so why does the Avaya put the line into preservation state until it retries again a bit later. If it is expecting an response from the registering server...
Media connection is enabled, this does help most of the time to keep the calls going. However my client has lengthy conversations very often 30 mins plus.
When watching this on SSA, you see all the calls that were active when the reg failed go into Preserved state. However the IPO does not take...
The normal procedure is :
Reg request
401 - Unauthorised
Reg request (Including Nonce)
200 OK
So I agree that I do not receive the final 200 OK, however the IPO returns a "11:24:32 168673370mS PRN: SIP Line (17) parameter XXXXXXX registration has failed, setting backoff retry timer to 30 secs"...
Hi, the 200 OK is UDP, not TCP??
Protocol: UDP (17)
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 172.18.49.10:5060;rport=5060;branch=z9hG4bK7c037f4d2485bf463d4801873827a4e5;received=169.255.1.255
