I did a SIP cutover today and in the middle of testing they asked to dial 90 (9 for trunk access, 0 to dial the operator) which did not work. Provider said that the system was sending a + and not the 0. I checked monitor and sure enough that is exactly what it is doing. International calls send without issue and without a +. I tried a multitude of solutions but anytime you send a single 0 to a SIP trunk it seems to send +. I don't think this is a huge issue, because who actually dials 0 anymore, but was wondering if anyone has run into this or better yet has a solution.

Use + for International is turned off in the SIP advanced. Again, 0 for an international number works just fine.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Create a shortcode

SC=90
TN=D0 or Y0 or "0"
Action=Dial
Line ID = the SIP line outgoing ID

Might work, just a thought.

@DirectelTech
I have changed the SIP line prefixes. Again, there is no + on international calls starting with 0 or any other calls only just calls to 0.

@intrigrant
I did try "0" and did not work. I could try D0 or Y0 that is a good idea thanks.

@derfloh
I said in my original post + for international numbers is already unchecked.. unless your telling me to turn it on?

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
