No, my customer is running 6.0 version right now, heres the license I have :
Avaya IP Endpoints,
Essential Edition Additional Voicemail Port,
IP500 Voice Network Channel
The licence received for my upgrade is : IPO UPG R8.1+ LIC
So not sure if i'm doing it or not.

The pbx itself can provide you this ''off-hook'' feature device, you can take a look into analog extension setting, set it to what you want, and after go into youre user telephony tab and you have youre ''off-hook'' feature.
Had same issues there, I tried with firefox and it didnt work, so use IE or Chrome, and make sure java is working, look for addblock or things like this, it can block the screen

I'm in my config right now, when I try to set the AA as the fallback extention to my Incoming call route, it dont show the AA, I only have sets,
so I guess we need to put a extention to the AA ? Tell me if i'm wrong but with the embbeded version we cant put a extention to the AA

At this moment, the AA ( Auto attendant ) is working at his regular business hours, and its a diffreent message at close hours.

With my personal experience, yes its a common issue, but like amriddle01 saied, depend on what system, I know that Cisco provide a nice ''Echo Cancelation'' automatic option, so it's easier for us and seems to works well too.
