Hello guys,

A custumer ask my a good question about an option he would like to do with his IP Office PBX,

At this moment, the AA ( Auto attendant ) is working at his regular business hours, and its a diffreent message at close hours.

He would like if possible to put a button on his Reception set, 201 in our case ( Phone : 1608 + exp module ) that will permit him to

''turn-off'' the AA, and the set 201 will ring for every lines directly. When his reception need to go away, she will press the button again and

the AA will be ''turn-on'' and come back as usual.

Any idea to do program this ? Because the AA dont have any extention, its a ''embeded voicemail''

Thanks in advance ! ( Sorry for my english, its my second language)

Create a shortcode to the AA then
Then create a "virtual user" and put a fwd unconditional to that shortcode (tick fwd HG)
Next create a huntgroup, put in the "virtual user"

Now programm an OOS (out of service) hunt group, and give the user a button to set that huntgroup OOS.

Make sure you time profile is on the HG and not on the ICR (incomming call route)

Make a group with the receptionist as a member, turn off voicemail no night or oos fallback

In Incoming Call Route set the group as the default target and the AA as the fallback target

Program a button to set the group Out of service.

if the group is in service all cals go to the group and if Out of service all calls go to the AA

If it ain't dutch it ain't much

@intrigrant

I'm in my config right now, when I try to set the AA as the fallback extention to my Incoming call route, it dont show the AA, I only have sets,
so I guess we need to put a extention to the AA ? Tell me if i'm wrong but with the embbeded version we cant put a extention to the AA

And for my button , is it the right action ? : Set HuntGroup Out Of Service

You can create a shortcode to access the AA and set the shortcode as the fallback target in ICR
Yes SetHuntGroupOutOfService is the one, the button led is on when active

If it ain't dutch it ain't much
