Thanks for the reply Greg. We want to get away from Exp Pro so if we were 'forced' to update the Windows XP client then we would jump to EC 10.2 - looks like more work anyway!

Has anyone had any experience using CS10 and Livelink Explorer Pro 4.8.6 combo on Windows XP machines ? I know in the release notes of Explorer Pro 4.8.6 that it only mentions CS 9.7.1 so does it not work at all on CS10 therefore forcing a client upgrade to either Exp Pro 10 or Enterprise...

Have you tried restarting the web client service on the machine ? - this fixed it for us and was a one time only needed fix on some Windows XP clients. Dont know exatly why it fixed it but it did.

Thanks all for your input here. From our experience, EC10 performs a lot better than Explorer Professional 4.8.6 in regarding wait times when the clients connect in to save etc. This is the bad experience that the users (clients connecting in) are going to see when we go over around 500 items...
