Publishing From Livelink

Hi,

We are looking at managing our current intranet/internet content and associated documents in Livelink to enable better control. Is this something that we can achieve and in addition, regularly publish the content to a webserver in the DMZ which is public facing?

Is this possible?

Certainly possible, although OT offer several WCM tools which are integrated with LL as well which may be a better option for you, suggest you have a chat with OT about them in the first instance.

Hi Greg,

Thank you for your response. This is something we might have to do but we would like to see if there are any 'non cost' options first. i.e. a simple URL query might suffice in pulling the data from Livelink into the DMZ server (logged in as an authorised user) or other ways of scripting access to the area in Livelink which contains the files (would this be OScript) ?

Livelink does offer LAPI and WebService APIs which you could use in conjunciton with say a Category containing an attribute indicating that it needs to be published etc.
