Yorkie, i agree with you on the SL1100. It was released to the market with lots of bugs, and yes it does not have the NEC quality i have been use to in the past. I am dragging my feet on this one.

WWW.necsl1100.The pricing is not bad in U.S. and don't know what country you are located in.
Be ready to learn a different product but seems to be very feature rich more toward IP and networking.
However it does provide TDM service as well...
I am not 100 per cent sure but i dont think the STS supports multilingual. Please someone correct me if i am wrong.

If not used in pbx, it should be disconnected externally,
programming as well should have been remove in software.
Make sure the recording you are hearing is coming from the LEC.

There is no Telephone number assigned to a dry cable pair.
If the cable pair is used for DSL, then it is naked.
No dial tone/DSL line.
The LEC has other terminology to id the line.
In your thinking i guess you could call it dedicated DSL.
I would think the ring back tone would after a certain...
What kind of phones are you referring to? Do the phones require a ksu (server)?

If you have the STS and not the STSE and you have the inskin VM card on board, i would do a reset of the VM card,reason is your cpu battery could be low and you stand a chance of losing your system.
There is a reset button on the inskin card.
