the serial cable was one of the first things I checked. it looks like it is wired the same as the manual. it has 3 wires TX RX and ground. th TX goes to the RX and vice versa and the ground to ground. i dont think its the cable.

there must be files missing from the setup archive you sent me as it complains about a missing _setup.dll file. I downloaded _setup.dll but now is complains about missing compressed library. Any ideas ? I am running it on XP.
