Great.. thanks again kyle555,
Funny thing was this morning the client emailed me to say that the message waiting light key is working for the secondary line but her main extension no longer rings and forwards to the cover path.. I had to add another call appearance ( key 1 and key 2 ) for her...
Okay great.. thanks so much kyle555..
What is the feature called on page2 that I need to ensure is on ? - MWI Served User Type ? qsig-mwi .. I've attached a pic of the page 2 for the secondary bridged extension to help
thanks !
Mich...
Thanks kyle555 - that makes total sense and very helpful !
The secondary extension doesn't have a set of it's own and only an appearance as a bridged extension on a key of phone with a different prime extension.. so I'll use the aut-msg-wt key as you've mentioned and list it's own extension...
I've added an aut-msg-wt key on the main line phone..and asked them to test since I support this system remotely. I'd like to know how to find the IP address of the set so that I can log into it remotely as well.
I'm still unclear as to what to put in the field of Message Waiting Ext on page...
Thanks so muhc Kyle555 !
I was wondering if I needed to add a key instead ( I have done that on the older Nortel systems before ) .. Appreciate the help and guidance here!
Just to confirm - on the extension programming for the secondary incoming number - on the page 1 of the station form.. do...
HI experts
I need to create a separate incoming line to an Avaya 9608 phone that already has a main extension. The new line is for a separate service and will have it's own voicemail box - I used the bridge feature to put the extension onto one of the buttons of the phone and it does ring in...
Hi and thanks for the reply!
Yes I am in North America -
I did check the SPN 01 and 011 for overseas calls - on the SPN I dont' see the call type here listed .. Only the DMI table which both SPN's reference the same table - the CTYP is INTL. When I dial out with AC1 - it's showing...
HI all
I need to set our calling line to show NUM PLAN National for our outbound as the carriers are discarding our CLID -
They are saying the following : please note that if you send A number with Screening Indicator of User provided – not verified, or User provided – verified and failed...
Yes.. 99..
I didn't see your post .. but I got it to work finally and I can now dial out successfully:).. Now I'm going to try sending calls from the Nortel to the Patton TIE to terminate on the IP PBX system...so I will program in the CDP for that just for testing ..
thanks

HI all
I am setting up a tie line from a 3CX IP PBX system to connect to our Meridian 81C via a Patton4970 ISDN gateway. I have it all connected and trunks are up and working however I can't seem to dial out to the PSTN
Dialing from the Nortel to a local on the 3CX works. What I need to be...
Yes that's exactly how the application is working - via xfer to mb with remote notification to a cell phone however because the cellphone user has a vmb on their cell the call is always flagged as 'successful' ... And if they don't log into the callpilot vmb then it will keep calling the same...
hi yyrkroon
thanks for the great suggestion.. The company we are supporting is a different company ( contracted out our IT Support desk) so the corporate email delivery is an issue I think because we are not on the same network - so the phoning out is best. I think we'd have to have CallPilot...
Hello experts
I have a question regarding a CallPilot application I've built and would like to modify. Our support desk menu - references an application via SDN for remote notification if a message is left in the voicemail box. This works great and has been working for a couple of years...
Hello Experts,
I've been searching through all theCallPilot manuals and can't seem to locate where/ how to send the command to reset the MWI indicators on our CallPilot 201i ( 4.0) .. ? Anyone know ?
cheers!

Unfortunately it's what he uses to be mobile around the floor - I wonder if I gave him the capability of forwarding on the supervisor's set and any time he wants to use his portable he can forward the sup set to it as a work around?
Mich
.. just thought of something.. Of course the main PDN hunts to CallPilot right now.. So have it go to a second line on the sup phone that will be the new DN of the anaglog set that then hunts to callPilot?
Mich
Mich
No.. I if possible beable to control the call forwarding form the digital set is preferred - and much easier to check the number etc.
any other thoughts?

If I MARP it on the analogue.. Can he still call forward from the digital set using the Feature button or would he then have to forward the PDN from the analog set using SPRE codes ?
thanks !
Mich
Mich
Hi again,
The PDN is also on his portable analog set although the MARP is on the Supervisor's set.. Also the LHK is set to the proper key that the PDN appears on so that it hunts apprpriately..I don't have Forward external allowed on the analog set however ..
Here' is a copy of the ACD...
