    KCFLHRC Thanks for that input

    911 from remote VoIP Office

Thanks Tman, We do not have any equipment onsite other than the router and layer 2 switch and the telephones. So with no local trunk to route calls from we are limited to using ERLs or CLID entries to send a local number which we hoped would route to the local PSAP from our pbx. We will have a...

    911 from remote VoIP Office

We are using Intrado to manage our 911 services and they are having a hard time helping us get this remote office set up. We will have a new clinic 100 miles away using VoIP phones registered back to our CS1K. We have a local number but for some reason we are unable to get to the correct PSAP...

ACD Agent ID log in question?

That is where you set the agent login ID and yes you will have to re-train your agents.

    NO DIAL TONE ON AOM

Some of the other keys on the AOM work, right? Re-connecting will not hurt. What does a trace of the TN show?

    NO DIAL TONE ON AOM

Could the other appearances of these DNs been busy when you tried to draw DT? The programming looks ok to me.

    CLID & 911 DIALING

OK so CLID won't stop the pbx from trying to send the call but your carrier may have other restrictions in place.

    Conferencing through a menu service

Thanks, G that's what I thought was going on. I'll give that key a test.

    CLID & 911 DIALING

CLID would not affect outbound dialing. You need to have more information. GH started you in the right direction. Is ESA configured? If not do you have SPNs defined in NARS? How are they routed? WHAT FRL is required to place 911 calls? A lot of things can afect wether a call is routed or not but...

    Conferencing through a menu service

We are using Call Pilot to front end our Contact Center and have come across a problem. When someone tries to conference through these menus we get a Call Pilot message saying you call cannot be completed. This happens when a selection is made for a transfer so my first thought is the system...

Finding an imported application in Cal Pilot

I'm cleaning up our applications in Call Pilot and I'm looking for a way to find out where an application has been imported to. I have some that I think I've removed all references on but when I try to delete the system tells me the app is imported but it doesn't say where.

    Suggestions for Line 2

If 8 is used for paging you won't be able to build dns starting with 8 because there is another shorter number in the system. The idea is good you will probably have to select another leading digit. 25XXX

    VoIP and E911

Appearantly some of the providers in our area do not update the Intrado DB and I'm being told that is the problem. Our CAMA trunk provider uses the Intrado DB for look ups and the other providers use a local DB. Since the two DBs don't interact our spoofed CLIDs come up empty for these spoofed...

    VoIP and E911

Bombone We have PS ALI that we administer for our number plan. We can send the "Spoofed" number for a regular call with no problem across our trunks from the same provider that we get our CAMA trunks from. I'll have to dig deeper on their side for an answer.
