Thanks for the reply, guys. ICET500, I'm using the manual provisioning, not the URL. So I'm manually entering the FQDN address in the Phone Service field. DERFLOH, I've never done much with creating or using certificates. I just tried for the first time following this Avaya link...
jose100, I'm having a similar issue where I can't access the local extensions and I cannot change the Presence status but only when I connect remotely using a FQDN. I can make and receive calls just fine though. Were you able to get yours working remotely ?

I've upgraded from 11.0 to 11.1 without the need of an upgrade license. However, make sure you're aware than upgrading to 11.1 means you have to use the Linux application server setup for VM pro.

I'm also not getting the green check box in the profile. I tried to enter the Ip500 address under Devices since I can see port 443 under that field but it didn't change anything.
Thanks for replying. I just had port 443 opened but I still cannot see the extension directory or presence status. Am I supposed to enter something in the IX Workplace after I open that port ?
Got an IP500V2 on 11.0.42 in Standard mode. Created a FDQN which points to the IP Office address. The IX Workplace connects but I cannot see the extension contacts and I don't have any Presence. Otherwise, I can make and receive calls just fine. If I use the software on the local network, it...
So I'm trying to figure out how to get the Avaya Workplace working on a standard IP Office environment. I was told that this could be done and Server Edition isn't required. Does anyone have a step-by-step "cheatsheet " they'd be willing to share with me ? The installation guides aren't guiding...
So I found an old tread on this issue with someone having a IM error message when they enable Instant Messaging within the Soft Console software since Avaya removed the ability to simply enter the IP address of the One-X Server. The resolution seemed to be to set the XMPP presence to the address...
Customer of IP500V2 running 9.1.12. Users with a 9504 have a strange issue where if they attempt to login into their mailbox using the speaker phone, the passwords they enter all receive a "login incorrect" message. However, if we turn on the MUTE button while it's on speaker, the passwords all...
I'm not sure if there's an actual guide out there, but it's actually not that different from migrating a VM Pro from a computer to a virtual computer or vise versa. The main thing you'll need is a file transferring software. I like using WinSCP. This will allow you to transfer the primary...
A dual site that had a working SCN prior to a power outage. Both are IP500V2 units and both on 9.1.7. The IP Trunks are up and can ping both ways fine. However, dialing site to site receives an "unobtainable" error. I was able to create a Short Code forcing the IPO to dial the extensions through...
Intrigrant, I know what I asked but your "yoda" like responses made your replies hard to understand. Your last response was the answer I was looking for, which was that multiple base antennas cannot link to the same repeater antenna. And you never explained HOW it was done.
Pepp77, thank you...
What you described, in very vague detail, isn’t correct. A single D100 can have 6 repeaters linked to it. I’m trying to figure out how to chain-link repeaters together as the doc states.
Can I link multiple D100 base units to a single repeater antenna ? The Avaya doc states that "Maximum number of Repeaters linked is 3" but does that mean linking actual repeaters to each other or linking base units to repeaters ?

I understand what you're saying but I'm not trying to log these users in as a base extension. I can go to any phone that's already logged in and it won't accept any user credentials from any extension at the other location and vise versa. I've never had this issue before.
