Sorry for such a late reply... my apologies.
The reboot of the controller resolved the issue.
Truthfully, I should have started there but had never had any issues in the past... first time for everything I guess :)
I added the multi-call button on a 7th phone and no go there either.
It is working on the original 5 but not the 6th or 7th.
There is a limit of 32 sets it can be programmed on and I am nowhere near the limit.
I will reboot the controller this weekend just on the off-chance that it will...
After checking, the phone is registered to its "home" controller.
I will put the multi-call button on another set and see if it works there - I will let you know how I come out.
The 5224 does have a 2 line display. As for dial tone on the programmed button, when I was on the phone with him today, I had him place me on hold and press the button. He stated that it showed "add held" on the display. I don't think I have ever seen that before?
As to hotdesking, no - we do...
I have a quick question (wishful thinking - I know).
I have an extension (8591) that has a multicall button programmed on it (8596). This is to allow users to answer a call to 8596 on their phone (8591 in this case). A call to 8596 is supposed to ring on 8591 as well as 5 other phones when it...
In an effort to clear up some toll fraud issues we are currently experiencing, I have been tasked with changing the default voicemail passcode length to 6 digits.
This is on a Mitel CXi controller running version 8.0.10.7_1 (old - I know).
What effect will this have on the 45 existing...
Thanks for the response!
Option 131 is only set in the scope options for the phones - it points back to our OPS/Ent Manager server... Is this not necessary?
I guess in my post I incorrectly stated that both scopes were set up the same - my bad.
Greetings!
I will try to be as descript as possible here but will probably miss something - my apologies in advance :)
We are running a Mitel 3300 and primarily use aging 3Com (with PowerDsine injectors) and relatively new HP ProCurve POE switches. All the 3Com and HP switches are to be...
The company I work for has a Your Assistant server (v. 3.2.0.71) that is setup and working - for the most part.
I have it setup to use the Mitel 3300 Synchronizer to update the Corporate Contacts information and have checked the YA server logs to ensure the software can log in to the individual...
Very possible that it may have been switched to SIP vice Minet. I will have the user unplug the phone, hold the * and 6 key down and plug it back in - that will switch it to Minet. And for switching to SIP, * and 7 while plugging it in.
Not sure if that works for all models but will for the...
I have a Mitel 5212 set that is properly programmed in the controller (I have deleted it and re-added it just to make sure) and is connected to the network. Set boots through the process fine but then sits with "disp username" on the LCD and shows up in the controller as out of service.
Any...
Since having the Enterprise/OPS Manager software installed for management of our Mitel controllers, I have been able to use the MAC editor to add/change/delete users but have been unable to configure voice mail through same. After doing some research on the net it appears that when Mitel...
Is it possible to use the add held feature on the Mitel 5212 phones? I know that this is available on the 5220 and 5224 sets (as I have these and have tested) but am thinking that the phone would have to have softkeys (as the 5220 and 5224 do) to work.
Good call. I had checked to make sure everything had power - and it did. Funny story... the guy had an electronic picture viewing frame on his desk - seems the power adapters had "somehow" been switched not giving the side control unit the 24 VDC that was needed - it was only getting 12 VDC...
I have a 5310 conferencing unit that is attached to a 5224 IP phone. The top green LED on the side control unit is flashing and the conferencing unit is not working.
Up until last week, all was well. The connections have all been reseated. Still no luck.
Any clues as to where to begin?
Thanks...
