I have a Mitel 5212 set that is properly programmed in the controller (I have deleted it and re-added it just to make sure) and is connected to the network. Set boots through the process fine but then sits with "disp username" on the LCD and shows up in the controller as out of service.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

At a guess, it is booting in SIP mode.

Stop the boot process and set the boot mode to MiNet

Very possible that it may have been switched to SIP vice Minet. I will have the user unplug the phone, hold the * and 6 key down and plug it back in - that will switch it to Minet. And for switching to SIP, * and 7 while plugging it in.

Not sure if that works for all models but will for the 5212. Will post back findings.

Thanks!
