We recently aquired a Merlin Magix to our sites. I know notning about them so any help at all would be appreciated. Presently I have to change an extrension number and add features to a 4406D telephone. There is no 4424D= set that I can see by the PBX to use. Can I use any 4424D set to do this...
Thanks but its when a caller is in the Unity mail and depresses a number that dials out to a phone on the SL100. When the called party answers the phone the caller does not hear the first few spoken words. The delay seems to definetly be on the speech cut thru from the UNITY but where ????
Experiencing 2-4 second delay in speech when coming from a Cisco Unity mail menu out to a Nortel phone on an SL-100 using Linside T1's to Cisco TIMG's...Any idea's
When forwarding out of the Option 11 the 5 digit extension is being preceded with 11111XXXXX instead of the correct NPA + NNX. The site is 5 digit extension numbers.
When forwarding DN's from an Nortel Option 11 to a Cisco Unity Mail. The call does not get into the mailbox. You receive the generic greeting from the Unity.
The call routes from the Option 11 over public network to an SL-100 to the Unity mail over TIMG's..
Any ideas????
Thanks....The fix was in the RDB for the Cisco Tie the CTYP had to be set to NPA....

Difference is Num Plan: E164 for Option call
Num plan: Num Unknown/Unknown for Cisco call
Question is why is the call going out like that Option 11 supplies DID's to Cisco thru CDP
When a call is made from a Cisco Call Manager that is tandeming through a Nortel Option 11 with a Tieline the caller is is dropped. D Channel monitoring shows correct digits are being outpulsed but they are not being received on distant end over the public network.
