caller id lost

When a call is made from a Cisco Call Manager that is tandeming through a Nortel Option 11 with a Tieline the caller is is dropped. D Channel monitoring shows correct digits are being outpulsed but they are not being received on distant end over the public network.
 
If you are sending CLID to telco passed from Cisco - perhaps Telco is dropping because of they do not like the call type.

Turn on DCH messaging and make a call from Cisco and a call from Nortel PBX and see what is different in the call type.
 
I did..
Difference is Num Plan: E164 for Option call
Num plan: Num Unknown/Unknown for Cisco call
Question is why is the call going out like that Option 11 supplies DID's to Cisco thru CDP
 
create a DMI for RLIs assigned to calls you are making that changes call type to NPA

or have Cisco send call to Nortel switch already tagged with e164
 
Tried it..Built DMI and made it NPA still NG

The station making the call is not being tagged correctly by the Cisco. Can you add a prefix of + or +1 to the station CLID coming out of the Cisco so the originating number will be tagged as e164?
 
Thanks....The fix was in the RDB for the Cisco Tie the CTYP had to be set to NPA....

Reusser you had it right just in the wrong place TNX for the assist
