thanks, cook1082. i don't have the manual and did some searching on express messaging but didn't find much. it appears that it may not be default in the call pilot.? how would i turn it on? i was going to set the prime for the line to the vm dn. any add'l clarification would be appreciated...
i have a mics 4.0 with call pilot 100 - i want to set up a private pots line that forwards directly to voice mail, but there will be no phone/dn. i thought i could do this with a phantom mail box, but if there is no phone set i can't think my way through it. any help appreciated.
I've read previous threads on how to get a 2nd call to CFB to VM on POTS lines, and with the company cost cutting, add'l lines to add in hunt are not an option currently (and the system is full). Does anyone know if Call Waiting LEC option will work on a 4.0 Norstar to allow the party to flash...
thanks exsmogger (and to all you other guys out there that help). i'll recheck the control set and compare other differences between the two sets if it doesn't work.
i have a customer with a MICS 4.0, and uses the AT and CCR, who wants to move the night button from one set to another, but keep the DNs where they are. tried to program the feature on a button and appears to be there, but won't allow it to be used. i think this may have something to do with...
gosh darn, you're making it too easy. i need to come up with something harder. i've been working on the norstars for over a year now, but i'm very weak on converting the software versions into layman terms. i thought 4.0 std ics would be 8 ports. how does the expansion card figure into the...
Ok. Running 30mnf04 NAT, NT7B64CP software, 5.04 SW, and from what i can tell i would need a NTBB04GA-93 expansion station card in order to get the 16 stations. does this sound about right to you guys? thanks.
thanks, guys. i haven't wired up the system yet so will do that and get the numbers. i thought i had seen something about adding a DS card where it automatically upped the station configuration as well, but maybe not.
i have a used ics that has 2 DS cards in it. can i assume that it is upgraded to 8x16? what is the easiest way to determine if it has 16 stations without wiring up? thanks.
Thanks guys. Sorry, been out of the office til now. You're all on the right track it appears. The system was previously programmed with a DTI card in it and I failed to check hardware before installing the DS card. So that was my downfall. And Curlycord, it looks like I was in slot 4 in the...
ok, been programming norstars for several months. had a site that had a MICS Plus with a bad DS card (2 ports). expansion unit had 3 cards but main cabinet no cards. powered down and installed DS card in main cabinet slot 2 and marked bad ports on 058 and 059. punched down a spare business...
sorry, feel stupid, but forgot if you lose the existing voice mail messages when you reset a password on a mailbox. user left and mgr needs to access messages. thanks.
I have also been asked by various managers about being able to monitor calls for "training" purposes. What level of software does this start on CICS and MICS?
Thanks
