You can make fax only mailboxes...create a new class of service as fax box.
Set fax support setting in the COS (send to email or send to fax server)
Or just create a virtual fax and assign it to a desktop messaging type COS which should already have fax support set up.

I tried the faxbox as well, I still get the same greeting.
I looked at all of the Class of service options and even created a new one one but I cant get around this greeting.
I dont know why a faxbox would need any sort of voice greeting on it???
I'll have to check with Corporate as to why...

I found it!
In the AAM server select messaging..In the section Messaging System select Sites (We have several)
I selected mine and started scrolling and looking..... at the very last thing i found was this..
And when i hit [lay..guess what it says lol.. Yup there is the greeting...

Names: It has one option..Recorded Name (with no check box to make active) I have fax tone recorded there.

but lowering your filter level to none in Outlook will fix the issue, or just look in your junk...

I've come across something pretty weird.
There is one site in particular that when people call us from there and leave a message it does not come to Outlook.
Any other source that leaves a voice mail populates...

If you're having fax issues be sure your analog cards are FW102 not FW103.
I could write a short thesis on what we did troubleshooting fax issues once we migrated from Nortel to Avaya Red
but this is what turned out to be our problem.

I am in need of rebooting the signaling server in order for the recording system to sync back up.
I have tried restarting the VOIP engine of the recording server and ever rebooted the recording server but it will not register the phones.

I'm wondering if anyone knows why the caller ID will not display for ACD calls on the pop notification bar but it displays
for all DN calls. The actual phone screen displays caller ID for both but only DN calls on the pop up.
