What type of backup are you running? I used to see this when I ran backups on a SQL svr with 300 DB's. I had to change the backup to "mssql:" rather than naming all the db's individually.
Anyone have a way to do silent installs on SQL BSM? I found how to do the install for the NW client piece, but I really dont want to go back and do the sql bsm's manually.
Any help appreciated !!
Take ti down to minimum config , 1 proc, 1 bank of memory, remove all cards, 1 power supply. swap in\out 1 thing at a time. Try clearing the cmos. Do you have any interlocks open?
We back up several clients thru a firewall, yes it seems that you open the world up to the network, but we have firewalls on top of firewalls. If the network folks can protect the network from the outside you should be ok. Otherwise plan a datazone for each area behind each firewall.

If you are using a shared jukeboxs (storage nodes ) you will have to perform it from each storage node.
BTW I use a batch file listing all the drives, this cuts the time in...

Thanks for your help
try creating a duplicate client, add it to the group, and specify only the the drive. Also create a skip directive for the other one skipping the same drive. Set the priority levels for each client.
