Wow. Joe, you were right. I had to go in to the Voicemail Preferences from Web Manager and set the password so it is the same as the voicemail password in Security Settings, and BAM!!! Up it came!
I am signing off of this thread. Thanks for all your help!
I appreciate your help thus far guys. Sheesh, this one is giving me fits! Contemplating bringing in a Win7 box and loading VMPro on it. If I didn't have a few users utilizing some of the One-X Portal apps, I would have done it already.
So,the upgrade is complete ( I think) per a message on...
Here is the SIP trace that I am getting.

Thanks janni78. I did not get an error when saving the password in VMPro, and that change cleared a System Status alarm I was getting for mismatched passwords. And I don't have any issue with changing the RTP ports, but is it possible that that is the root of the problem with voicemail not...
Thanks amriddle01 and janni78 for your responses. I have matched the passwords "Voicemail" IPO Security as well as through the VMPro Client's "Administration / General / General Voiemail Password" and it has eliminated the password error in System Status. Thanks for your help in that!

I have an IP Office 9.1.7 that was upgraded about 6 months ago, and today I turned up SIP trunks to reduce customer costs for PRI. Since the system now has some ports open in the firewall for SIP traffic I implemented complex passwords for Administrator, Security and System. Since the new...
I have a customer that is expanding and is outgrowing the capacity of the 12 expansion modules. I have been preparing to upgrade them to Server Edition, and looked on and off for a couple of months for the documentation / instructions on taking a system through this upgrade.
Ultimately my...
itguy, don't use the Softconsole found in the User CD. Bulletin 185 states, "SoftConsole 4.2(40) contained in this release of User CD is not supported with IP Office
9.1 software. IP Office 9.1 systems must use the 9.1 release of SoftConsole." It is a separate download.
I think I am going...
We inform the customer about the benefits and cost of a 2nd internet connection. In most cases, the financial folks squash the investment required for the 2nd connection. I believe that as time goes on and they experience a failure or two the sales side of the business will override the...
That depends on a couple of things. First, do any of your systems have VCM modules? This is needed for the conversion of signalling and voice to VOIP. At that software level, (if memory serves me right), the VCM channels also need to be licensed.
I have spent a solid day on this issue, and hoped that if I documented my setup the issue would present itself to me... It didn't.
Can I ask that you read through my set up and point out any issues you see?

OK. So I have made the adjustments to my ARS. I now have it programmed;

OK. Slick how you inserted that picture. I would do the same if I could figure out how...
My SIP URI under SIP LINE looks very similar to yours. My inbound and outbound groups are 30 and 31 instead of 17 and 99. I have the *'s so I can receive any DID digits.
I didn't touch ARS because of...
I have about a year's experience with my own SIP trunks on my office system, but I will say that there are a number of aspects of SIP that I don't understand.
My short code for dialing out is
9N
Dial
N"@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"
Line Group ID 31 (This is the GROUP number I assigned to the SIP URI...
Yesterday installed new IP Office v2 9.0 with SIP trunks over a DIA with a carrier that uses a MetaSwitch. The carrier does not require authentication as we are on a dedicated Ethernet over copper connection to the carrier.
Trunks are up, and we are able to receive inbound calls, but cannot...
