Folks, My WSUS server (w2003R2) has just died on me. Clients (XP, Vista) would connect through Group Policy to the server. As this server is down will the clients try to connect through the Internet to Windows Update even though Group Policy is in place? Cheers Derek.

I want to force out the kb90714 patch for Internet Explorer through WSUS 3.0 SP1. I have approved it for Install but can I manually force the update out throuhg WSUS to the client pc's? They are set to download and install the update every day at 10am at present
