    LLDP issue with 9608 handset

I am trying to get several 9608 handsets working with LLDP and ADAC however they won't pick up the Voice VLAN. Manually configuring the network options on the phone works so we know that the handset can get to the various servers it needs once on the network. We are working on Avaya 5520...

Making external calls via a DPNSS link - not enough digits being passed down the link

Hi John, Thanks for responding. There are several dest codes for this route, all set the same with an SRT of 1. I also have several hundred extensions that use this route and they work fine so it must be the number length as they are all 4 digit and work both ways down the DPNSS link. If it...

Hi, We've just been installing around 1000 of these handsets and the issue around them freezing randomly occurs for us too. The netwrk has been checked and all is fine. Did you ever get a response from Avaya regarding this issue? Thanks

Making external calls via a DPNSS link - not enough digits being passed down the link

I'm moving extensions from an Aastra exchange to an Avaya exchange and, to enable simultaneous working, there are two 30 channel DPNSS circuits running between the exchanges. I'm moving the ISDN30 circuits from the Aastra to the Avaya exchange which means all external calls made by Aastra...

Hi, I am trying to integrate a speech recognition system with the MX-One TSW on site. What I am trying to do is set the system so that calls come into the exchange, connect to the system and then contact the operator if they can't get through to the person they need via this route. The...

    Line Lock

Use the BLFDP command. If the equipment position is blocked then look in the blocking field to see if yours is the same as this - B'0000000000010000 If it is, it either means the phone is off the hook, the handset is faulty or the cabling is faulty Hope this helps

    DRG's and analogue phones

None of the faxes are set to T38 fax yet they work. If I ring the number that is programmed for voice it doesn't ring on the DRG yet if I ring the fax number I get through to the fax.

    DRG's and analogue phones

Yep, send and receive faxes. The phone handset on the fax machine has a dial tone but when I plug a basic known-working analogue handset into the same socket I get nothing.
