    Call Accounting Software

We use SDD's Jazz. Not a bad product and works on cs1k. You can use it with multiple switches via interface boxes to the server.

    Access point recommendations

Look at Ruckus Wireless. They have a variety of different access points that may work. They also have a built in Mesh capability that it sounds like will be required to get this to work. If you put a 7762 (I think) at the main lodge, you should be able to use that as the main point to mesh...

    E911 issue

The first thing you should look at is what the actual OSN alert says on the terminal when you make a test 911 call, and that will help you narrow down where the problem might be. rt12

    MICHIGAN IAUG E911 Webinar

Hey, Fletch, will this be available at a later date? I am supposed to be gathering info on what other Avaya customers are doing in Michigan, and I didn't have the chance to catch this. Thanks for all of the great info! rt12

    Michigan E911 Solution/Vendor Thoughts

First, thanks to Fletch for the update he posted on the BCM forum on the go ahead slated this year. I have done the research and recieved some proposals for E911 for our system, but wanted to get any thoughts that Michigan techs might have on the various providers and solutions available. Our...

Unable to boot Call Pilot 1005r 5.0 - Red MJR and Orange PWR lights

It looks like you have a bad power supply. From the Server Maintenance and Diagnostics NTP: A power supply fault indicates that one of the power supplies is not providing power. The MJR LED is also lit. Specific doc is: NN44200-704. Someone else might be able to lend you more specific help...

CP Fax/Desktop Messaging and PCI Compliance

I am wondering if this is addressed anywhere, or if one of you ladies and gents have figured this out already. I am looking at adding fax licenses for our desktop messaging users, but need to make sure if there is a way to make it compliant. This would be for a 1005r 5.0. Any thoughts or...

    50 Pair CAT3

Hopefully you will have binder tape or thread in that cable. Should be blue/white and orange/white that wrap around each 25pr. If that is the case, it should be fairly simple. rt12

    CPMGR Logon Screen Changed

The only big thing I knew that happened on 7-1 was PCI compliance. I know it doesn't have to do with vmail, BUT it is a system on a network... It might have been prebuilt code. Like y2k or conficker! lol Just a thought. And yes, it happened to me too. 5.0 on 1005r. rt12

    Adding phones in R6

I agree that EM can be flukey, but once you get it working it does really well. I have also noticed a difference between the old switch versions on R6. I deal with R6 on an Opt61 system and also a fully fledged CS1KE made up of Opt11s. To get to your point though, I was able to add multiple...

Thanks for all of the help, Fletch. Your SPN idea will probably work out really well. Hopefully I don't have to pester the group for help as we move forward with our implementation! rt

    Another E911 Question....

Hey, Fletch. I could not find that reference. I was looking at "NENA 06-750, Version 2, (Previously TID 06-501) February 19, 2009". Should I have been looking at something else? rt
