Using a Nortel CS1000 without an attendant console.

I was wondering if there was a report I could run or some other way to know if someone had dialed 911 in our switch. We're having an issue with people dialing 911 and hanging up. I'm pretty sure it's by mistake however sending an email to the entire office asking our users to be careful hasn't worked so I'd like to see who the culprit is. It's probably just a training issue.

Any help you can provide is appreciated.

It should show up on the system terminal, but you can also print the history. That will show OSN alerts with ext, time stamp, etc.

It will show up if OSN is set up. Otherwise, it will not be there.

You might want to send out an email asking that if someone does dial 911 by accident, not to hang up, but to tell the dispatcher that the number was called in error, that will not stop all the calls but will minimise the times when the Police show up on your door step.
